What to Expect

What to expect:

During your initial one hour appointment, Dr. Miller will address the following topics: (time permitting)

  • Comprehensive personal health history
  • Current health issues
  • Past medical and surgical problems
  • Review of prior tests (please bring records)
  • Review of systems (questions about symptoms in the body)
  • Any psychosocial issues affecting health
  • Family health history
  • Thorough review of current and recent medications (please bring a list or bottles with dosages)
  • Review of any supplements (please bring bottles if possible)
  • In depth dietary review

After your office interview, a physical examination will be performed.
Upon completion of the health interview and physical, Dr. Miller will make recommendations.

  • Further diagnostic testing, if indicated
  • Initial treatment plan
  • Referral to appropriate providers, if indicated

Routine Assessment for the Following:

  • Clues in the patient’s health history
  • Pain patterns during in daily activities
  • Body habitus, musculoskeletal imbalances, and biomechanical factors which can contribute to pain
  • Review of prior diagnostic studies
  • Evaluation for possible infectious causes of pain
  • Evaluation for inflammatory causes of pain
  • Vitamin/mineral deficiencies
  • Dietary causes of pain/inflammation
  • Digestive health
  • Environmental causes

Financial

In addition to the 60 minutes spent one-on-one with you, Dr. Miller will further research your treatment plan after your visit to ensure the highest quality of evidence based medical care. Due to the highly personalized nature of your consultation with Dr. Miller, she is unable to accept commercial or governmental insurances. Her office will provide you an itemized bill which you may submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please call our office for information about our rates and to schedule an appointment.
